Buying
How do I pay for a part?
Payments are processed securely through Stripe. Click "Buy now" on any listing and you'll be taken to a Stripe-hosted checkout page. We accept all major credit and debit cards. Your card details never touch our servers.
Is it safe to buy here?
Payments go through Stripe, a PCI-compliant payment processor used by millions of businesses. Funds are held until the transaction is complete. Seller reputation scores, reviews, and commendations help you gauge trustworthiness before buying.
What if the part isn't as described?
Contact the seller first through the messaging system — most issues are resolved directly. If you can't reach an agreement, contact us at clutchyardteam@gmail.com and we'll help mediate. For payment disputes, you can also raise a dispute through Stripe via your bank.
How long does shipping take?
Shipping is arranged between buyer and seller. Check the listing for shipping details before purchasing, and confirm timelines with the seller via messages if needed.
Can I buy internationally?
That's up to each seller. Some ship internationally, some don't. Check the listing or message the seller to ask before buying.
Selling
How do I list a part?
Create a free account, then click "Sell" in the navbar. You'll fill in the part details, add photos, set a price and shipping info, then publish. Your listing goes live immediately.
How much does it cost to sell?
Listing is free. When a sale completes, Clutchyard takes a 3% platform fee. So if you sell a part for $100, you receive $97 minus any Stripe processing fees (~2.9% + 30¢).
How do I get paid?
You'll need to connect a Stripe account from your dashboard. Stripe handles payouts directly to your bank account — typically within 2–7 business days of a completed sale, depending on your country and Stripe's payout schedule.
Can I edit or remove a listing?
Yes. You can edit a listing at any time from your dashboard or from the listing page itself. You can also mark it as sold or remove it entirely.
What can I sell here?
Used and new adventure motorcycle parts and accessories. See our prohibited items list for what's not allowed. Complete bikes are not permitted — parts only.
Accounts & platform
Is my account information secure?
Authentication and session management is handled by Supabase Auth. Passwords are hashed and never stored in plaintext. Payment details are stored exclusively by Stripe — we never see your full card number.
How do I report a problem with a user?
Use the report button in any message thread or contact us at clutchyardteam@gmail.com. We review all reports and take action on confirmed violations of our community guidelines.
Can I delete my account?
Yes. Email us at clutchyardteam@gmail.com and we'll delete your account and personal data in accordance with our Privacy Policy. Note that completed order records may be retained for legal and accounting purposes.
