Prohibited items
What cannot be listed on Clutchyard.
Stolen or illegally obtained parts
Listing parts that are stolen, obtained through insurance fraud, or otherwise illegally acquired is strictly prohibited and may be reported to law enforcement. Sellers are responsible for being able to demonstrate lawful ownership.
Counterfeit or misrepresented parts
- Counterfeit OEM parts — parts sold as genuine manufacturer parts that are not.
- Parts with altered or removed VIN/serial numbers.
- Parts listed as a different brand or model than they actually are.
- Used parts listed as new.
Complete motorcycles
Clutchyard is a parts marketplace only. Complete motorcycles, frames with titles, and engine/frame combos that constitute a complete vehicle are not permitted. Individual frames without titles may be listed clearly as parts only.
Hazardous materials
- Fuel, oils, coolants, and other flammable or chemical liquids.
- Pressurised canisters (airbag components, CO₂ cartridges).
- Tyres that are cracked, delaminated, or past their safe service life.
- Brake pads or rotors worn below manufacturer minimums (unless clearly disclosed as for display/non-use).
Non-motorcycle items
Only motorcycle parts and accessories are permitted. General automotive parts, gear (helmets, jackets, boots), tools, and accessories unrelated to specific bikes are not allowed unless they are directly motorcycle-applicable.
Other prohibited listings
- Replica or "inspired by" parts listed without clearly stating they are aftermarket replicas.
- Recalled parts that have not been remediated.
- Parts from bikes involved in unrepaired structural damage, unless clearly disclosed.
- Duplicate listings — the same part listed multiple times by the same seller.
- Listings with misleading titles designed to appear in unrelated searches.
Reporting a prohibited listing
If you see a listing that violates these rules, report it using the flag option or email clutchyardteam@gmail.com with the listing URL. We review all reports promptly.
